Having a Kindle has made me forget about reading. I’m living in Austin for the winter because I’m better than people in Chicago, but that hasn’t made me a better reader even with the option to read outside. My girlfriend will tell you that I am easily excited, but looking down at my coffee table and seeing a slate colored Harriett Beacher Stowe (sp?) does nothing for me other than excited me about Harriet Beacher Stowe (one “T” this time), unfortunately just the woman but not the writer. Now for the point:cover art work and the potential you see when you look down at a book that makes you transition into picking up said book is absent with the Kindle and is destroying my will to read. But, apparently not destroying my will to post inane space filler.
One more thing, Mumford and Sons is fucking sweet
